“Congressman Matt Gaetz has never asked me for a pardon,” Trump said in a statement. “It must also be remembered that he has totally denied the accusations against him.”

The New York Times reported that the congressman asked White House officials for blanked pardon for himself. He made similar demands for other congressional allies of the former President.

Gaetz is under investigation into an alleged relationship with a minor. He denied the claims and told Tucker Carlson that they have accused him of being with a teenager who “does not exist.”

The Times reported accusations that Gaetz and Joel Greenberg paid women who offered “special” services online.

Gaetz has nothing but words of praise for Trump and also tried to push back on his impeachments.

The former President was reportedly mulling preemptive pardons for many allies. This includes his children, Rudy Giuliani, and himself. He granted clemency to Stephen Bannon, Chris Collins, and Duncan Hunter.
